I’ve been cleaning my inventory today, before I reach 50k items. I’d like to get back down to 30k, and then maybe to 20k, but it’s really difficult. I’m a bit of a compulsive shopper, and I still have items from 2006 sitting in my inventory that are too sentimental to throw away. However, much as I did in real life a few months back, I am being merciless in my pruning.

I do have a lot of transferable outfits to share with friends, and I think the rest of my day will be taken up by taking pictures of these things. …However…

I enlisted the services of my male alt, as Kenji is off at work right now and can’t give me a hand with this. Of all of the designers on the grid, only a few have me with every single release, and even fewer have me when it comes to lingerie. What can I say? I’m really not much of a girl to run around in my underwear.

Naked is better.

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to showcase the GORGEOUS underwear for both men and women by Zaara Kohime for a while now, and never really got around to it. Very rarely do I buy lingerie, but I make an exception here. Well made, and damn sexy.

…there was a Jedi Master named Damry Hawke. She hadn’t always been a Jedi– she started as a complete Mara Jade rip-off as a smuggler, then became “magically” Force sensitive when I felt like being special….but she then became far more than just an expy of a canon character. For well over five years I roleplayed her in various venues, mostly Yahoo!Chat before they took away userrooms, those jerks.

Today an old friend emailed me a story he wrote about Damry and his character Keiran, and that gave me the drive to finish making her in SL. I’m still likely to change the skin around, but for now, this is it.

I just finished reading Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter the other evening, and it’s gotten me on a vampire kick. No, not that pussy Twilight stuff, but REAL vampires. ….or as real as well..yeah. You get what I’m saying. Vampires that aren’t afraid to sink their teeth into your neck and aren’t 100 and some odd year old virgins. Sensuality is the key, yo. …And really, stalking like a horny high schooler isn’t sexy. Gotta do the dark alley thing!

For this outfit, I found an OLD goth skin from Tuli and used the shape that accompanied it and added hair I just picked up from the Visual Hunt. The eyes? Sadly, no longer available. Or wait…lemme look. Okay, the creator is under a new alt, and does sell eyes again. Hooray! …Now if only Miriel would come back. ;_; For similar eyes, check out Alice Project.

99 degrees here, and I’m ready to fall over, even in my air conditioned house.  I’ve never done well in the heat and Missouri is really bad with humidity.  So..?  I tossed my avatar in a bikini and it made me happier.

I also bought my first ever pet on SL, an adorable kitty from Zooby’s.  My own calico is curled up next to me in an anesthesia-induced sleep after getting spayed this morning (The vet said she’d probably sleep almost nonstop until tomorrow).  …She’s never been so easy to pick up though, it’s kinda nice.  Her ‘brother’ kitty is hiding in the closet though, in fear that I’ll take him out in the carrier next.

Well, the trip was awesome… And Second Life was a sea of grey.  Nothing but my home point would rez on my brothers laptop, but that’s alright.  Not like I needed to spend much time online anyway.  But yeah, great trip, though I’m glad to be home.

I -was- going to showcase some pretty prim feet, since I got my first ever RL pedicure on Saturday, but I got tired of tinting pretty quickly, and decided to hop on my male avatar and show off my new favorite hair store.

Zeus is made of win.  I discovered it a few weeks ago when another blog posted their lucky chair hair, and I’ve been quite happily shopping there since.  Also, they have the hair I’m wearing in the above picture for free in the catch a falling star hunt.  Find the pretty particles, type /7 catch a time or two, and voila.

Now, it also has great hair for girls, but I’m focusing on the guys this time around.  Guys still don’t have the best options when it comes to hair.  …Unless you’re my boyfriend, who has an uncanny ability to find awesome hair all the time.  Lucky bastard.

A  few weekends ago, my favorite local radio station played the newest single from Avantasia.  Avantasia is power metal…KKID is classic rock.  I tilted my head as I was driving down the highway, wondering exactly how that one got in when the DJ mentioned that the guest singer was none other than Klause Meine from the Scorpions.

It meshed perfectly.

So today’s look of the day is a mix of classic and new stuff. …And by classic, I mean vintage SL. I’m going back to 2006 and 2007 for my Last Call pieces…I wish SL didn’t eat my Dazzle stuff. =\

I also wanted to mention..I LOVE THIS SKIN.  Very rarely do I do anything but pale, but this skin is so…fierce…

Just like half of Second Life, I too have fallen in love with the newest release from Tuli.   I can recall when Tuli first started on SL, and how taken everyone was. …And yes, I was one of them too.

However, as time went by, I lost a little bit of that love.   I found other skin designers and soon moved away.  Hell, I’ve not made a purchase in quite some time from there…but the moment I saw this one?  I loved it.  I had to have it.  When the group gift pictures made their way over the fashion feeds, I even joined the group to get it…and on the 22nd, when the line came out completely?  I was there.

….Okay, it took until I was home from work, but that’s beside the point!
